A rare and magnificent tree, the Parrotia persica is a uniquely and early flowering species with colourful autumn foliage and a beautiful trunk. Reaching an eventual height of 10-11m and 5m width, with an oval crown shape. 
 
The autumn colour and peeling trunk make it an excellent specimin choice for gardens, public gardens and urban areas. Autumn colouration starts at an early stage and turns from yellow into orange, scarlet red and finally into deep auburn and evokes a true feeling of Indian Summer.
