OUR STORY
THE COMPANY
Treescape Nursery began at Cobthorne Farm in 2018. The nursery grows its stock from a combination of locally sourced seed and bare-roots alongside saplings from all round the globe. Having good accessibility to young plant stock ensures the best vigour, consistency and quality trees can be nurtured to the desired size and form.
Unlike some other nurseries, Treescape offers availability of different sized trees ranging from 1 - 4 meters, priced accordingly to match the customers budget and desired impact of their instant tree.
WHAT WE SUPPLY
Having stock grown both in field and containerised enables year round supply of quality trees to both professional landscapers and home renovation projects.
Some species prefer their first few years grown containerised and conversely some prefer to be grow in our sandy clay loam soils from the moment they arrive at the nursery. Each species therefore will have a preferred potted size to maximise healthy growth, detailed in our listings. Containers and grow bags range from 10 - 60 litre.
THE PEOPLE
Growing up on a family farm in Lincolnshire, the business owner Alex learnt how to grow plants and commercial crops from an early age. After completing a Bachelor degree in Agriculture and Plant Physiology he worked as an Agronomist for 6 years looking after arable and high value vegetable and root crop growers supplying UK supermarkets. In 2018 the decision was made to set up Treescape Nursery with the aim of developing a successful carbon neutral business in Trees and engaging with an ever-growing interest of connecting back with nature.
